Doors Open at the Innisfil ideaLAB & Library For Browse, Borrow & Go Service

The Innisfil ideaLAB & Library will re-open to the public on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, with our “Browse, Borrow & Go” service. This will allow customers to access our library collections and services with visits of 30 minutes or less. 

Cookstown, Lakeshore and Stroud Branches will be open for browsing, hold pick-ups, and express computer access. Staff will be available to welcome you back and assist. Capacity will be limited to ensure physical distancing as we once again offer on-site services and invite the community into our branches. Computer access will be limited to half an hour per person with printing and faxing services available. Customers are reminded that curbside pickup service will still be available.

Branch hours will remain as follows:

  • Lakeshore Branch, Tuesday -Thursday 9:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Friday 9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., and Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Cookstown Branch, Tuesday-Wednesday 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Thursday 1:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Stroud Branch, Tuesday-Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Please be aware that due to capacity limits wait times may occur.

Safety is our top priority. Please refrain from visiting the library if you are feeling unwell. As a reminder, everyone will be asked to wear a face covering while inside the building, including staff.  Physical distancing and directional signage has been placed around the building with reminders to keep a minimum distance of 2 metres (6 feet) from staff and other customers.
