ComicFEST

Innisfil ideaLAB & Library presents second edition of ComicFEST on Saturday, April 26 from 10am-2pm.

What is ComicFEST?

ComicFEST showcased and celebrated pop culture, with local vendors, Cosplayers, artists, gaming, making and more!

This comic themed event brought in many costumed attendees, happily taking part in Superhero storytime, superhero mask making with the MacLaren Art Centre, and button making by Pretty Heroes. We ran a special HackLAB drop-in, where participants were able to create their own comic book, otherwise known as a ‘zine. There was an all-ages MarioKart tournament on the main stage, with participants of all ages. Wizarding Greenscreening was very popular, and members of the 501st Legion took photos, transporting themselves straight to the Death Star! ComicFEST included a special Dungeons & Dragons workshop, bringing in new faces to the realm of fantasy and adventure.

Join us on Saturday, April 26 from 10am-2pm for the second edition of ComicFEST!💥
