Celebrating Community with Love Letters: Family Fun & Storytime with Author Lindsay Zier-Vogel

The Innisfil ideaLAB & Library is excited to announce a heartwarming and creative event with Canadian author Lindsay Zier-Vogel! We are thrilled to invite families, friends, and community members to participate in an interactive and fun-filled storytime experience at the Community Love Lettering event on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at the Lakeshore Branch (967 Innisfil Beach Road).

Lindsay Zier-Vogel, the author of the picture book Dear Street, based on her acclaimed project The Love Lettering Project, will lead a special event that celebrates what we love about where we live. The Love Lettering Project invites individuals to write anonymous love letters about the places they call home, celebrating the unique beauty of their communities.

Events with Lindsay Zier-Vogel, Saturday, April 12

Family Storytime, 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.
Our weekly drop-in Storytime is packed with fun, featuring an hour of stories, songs, crafts, and playtime for the whole family. Lindsay will read from her picture book, Dear Street.

All ages (Families welcome!)

Community Love Lettering,1:00 – 3:00 p.m.

An interactive session of The Love Lettering Project, encouraging participants to write anonymous love letters about what they love most about their town. Lindsay will guide you in creating these heartfelt notes.

Ages 12+ (Adults welcome!)

The Community Love Continues, Tuesday, April 29, 3:00 – 4:30 p.m.
