Adventure Awaits at the Innisfil ideaLAB & Library This March Break

INNISFIL, (February 28, 2022) – Get your safari gear and superhero capes ready, this March Break its time for adventure at theInnisfil ideaLAB & Library! Whether you take a trip around the world or train to be a superhero, we have a number of engaging and educational activities that will keep the kids busy during March Break and provide opportunities for your family to spend quality time together.

Discover, train, escape and design with us! There are programs and activities for children of all ages including: designing an escape room, creating your own arcade game, family story time, building bee houses, and much more! Programs will be running daily from March 15th to 19th online, and at the Lakeshore, and Cookstown Branches. Registration is required.

Intro to Wildlife with Jason George
Virtual: Thursday March 17, 1:30-2:30pm

Jason George will take you on a trip around the world as he shares some of his best photos and most memorable experiences with many of your favourite animals. And get ready, because we are going on a safari hunt to see what we can see! This free, virtual event is perfect for adventurers of all ages.

Worry Creatures in the Community with Jocelyn Leworthy
Cookstown: Tuesday March 15, 10:30-11:30am
Lakeshore: Tuesday March 15, 1:30-2:30pm

Join Jocelyn Leworthy, a Certified Child Life Specialist, for a workshop that will spark discussion to normalize, express, and validate children’s worries, especially during a pandemic. We’ll share a story, learn coping strategies, and delight in a special craft.
