What will be for sale?
You’ll find a wide variety of affordable items, including:
- Books for all ages
- Children’s books
- Fiction and non-fiction
- DVDs and Blu-rays
- Video games
How much do items cost?
Most items are priced to be affordable, with prices posted at the sale.
How can I pay?
Payment can be made with cash, debit, or credit card.
Should I bring my own bag?
Yes! Bringing a reusable bag is encouraged to help carry home your finds. Library tote bags will be available to purchase for $5.
Book Donations
Help make our Big Book Sale even bigger! We’re accepting gently used community donations at the Lakeshore Branch during regular library hours on the following dates:
- Thursday, November 12
- Friday, November 13
- Wednesday, November 18
- Thursday, November 19
Before you donate, ask yourself:
- Is it clean and in good condition?
- Is it something someone would be excited to buy?
If the answer is yes, we’d love to receive it!
We gladly accept:
- Books for all ages
- DVDs and Blu-rays
- Video games
We cannot accept:
- Textbooks
- Encyclopedias
- Oversized coffee table books
- VHS tapes, CDs
- Torn, mouldy, or damaged materials
- Outdated classroom learning sets
Every donation helps give pre-loved items a second life while supporting the library’s programs and services.
