The Innisfil ideaLAB & Library invites the community to help build a brighter future for children and families through its new Buy a Shelf campaign. For a $250 donation, individuals, families, and local businesses can help shape the future of the Library, one shelf at a time. Supporters can sponsor a library shelf in the children’s area at the Lakeshore Branch and help create a vibrant space where families learn, connect, and grow together.
Libraries are more than books, they are places where stories spark curiosity, where children discover the joy of reading, and where families come together to build lifelong memories. By sponsoring this initiative, donors are directly investing in literacy and ensuring that every child has access to the tools and opportunities they need to thrive making real impact, right here in Innisfil.

Through the Buy a Shelf campaign, a $250 Shelf Sponsorship supports literacy and lifelong learning with a personalized name plate on a library shelf. It offers a unique opportunity to honour a loved one, celebrate a passion for reading, or promote a local business. For those looking to make an even greater impact, a $1,500 Community Champion Sponsorship helps fund broader improvements to the space, creating an environment where imagination, creativity, and connection can flourish. Community Champions will receive prominent recognition within the Children’s Area, showcasing their leadership and commitment to building a stronger, more vibrant community.
Smaller gifts are always welcome and will go towards enriching Library Services. Donations of $20 or more will receive a charitable tax receipt.
