Adult Social: DIY Travel Tic Tac Toe Set  
Cookstown | Wednesday, August 5, 11am-12pm 
Make your own portable Tic Tac Toe game! Using rocks and a draw-string bag, participants will customize their own game set with paint and markers. 

Adult Social: Air Dry Clay 
Cookstown | Thursday, August 6, 1pm-2pm Spend the afternoon working with air dry clay to create small sculptures, trinket dishes, decor pieces, or other fun things. $5 per person 
 
Adult Social: Cardboard Loom Coaster Weaving  
Cookstown | Wednesday, August 12, 11-12pm 
Learn the art of cardboard loom weaving and create beautiful coasters! In this hands-on workshop, participants will explore basic weaving techniques usuing colourful yarn and cardboard. All skill levels welcome!  
 
Adult Social: Watercolour Bookmarks  
Cookstown | Thursday, August 13, 1pm-2pm 
Create personalized bookmarks with watercolour paints and decorations to make reading even more fun! Adults | $5 per person 

Adult Social: Rock Photo Holders  
Cookstown | Wednesday, August 19, 11am-12pm 
Turn ordinary rocks into beautiful keepsakes. Participants will design their own rock photo holders using paint and wire. Perfect for displaying treasured photos, artwork and notes! 

Adult Social: Mini Beaded Plants 
Cookstown | Thursday, August 20, 1pm-2pm 
Spend the afternoon crafting a mini beaded plant that never needs watering! Using a mini pot, wires, and beads, create a fun new decor piece for your window at home. Adults | $5 per person 

Adult Social: Tealight Houses 
Cookstown | Wednesday, August 26, 11am-12pm 
Create a charming coastal-inspired decoration using simple materials and a little imagination! In this hands-on craft, participants will transform plastic cups into miniature lighthouses illuminated with battery-operated tea lights. 

Adult Social: DIY Butterfly Houses 
Cookstown | Thursday, August 27, 1pm-2pm 
Decorate a wooden butterfly puzzle with creative colours and patterns to make a personalized decor piece for your home!Adults | $5 per person

Adult Social: Drop in Board Games and Card Games

Come on out to play some well known or new-to-you board games and card games, all the while getting the chance to socialize with other adults. 

Adult Social: Escape the Library  
Lakeshore: Thursday, August 13, 3-4pm 
Join us for a thrilling Library Escape Room challenge! Work as a team to solve puzzles, uncover clues, and complete your mission before time runs out. Test your problem-solving skills, creativity, and teamwork in this fun and interactive adventure. 

Adult Social: Quiplash at the Library 
Lakeshore | Tuesday, August 18, 1:30-2:30pm 
Put your creativity and sense of humour to the test and join us for Quiplash, an online interactive game where players submit funny responses to quirky prompts, then vote on their favourites as the answers are revealed. No electronic devices or gaming experience required—just bring your imagination and get ready for an evening of laughs, friendly competition, and unexpected creativity. Bring your own smartphone or tablet to use as the controller. The library will provide tablets if you don’t have your own device. 

Adult Social: Rock Mandala Painting 
Lakeshore | Tuesday, August 25, 1:30-2:30pm 
Take part in the relaxing art of rock mandala painting! Join us to transform an ordinary stone into a colourful work of art using simple dot-painting techniques and acrylic paints. 

Adult Social: Folded Book Vase  
Lakeshore | Tuesday, August 25, 6:30-7:30pm 
Join us to turn books into a folded paper vase, the perfect decor piece for book lovers! Display dried flowers, greenery, or use as a standalone art piece, this project combines creativity with upcycling.  
 
Adult Social: Paper Chain Tapestry  
Lakeshore: Thursday, August 27, 3-4pm 
Join us and craft a paper-chain tapestry of your own creation! Using colourful paper, come design and assemble a decorative wall hanging tapestry.   

Lakeshore: Tuesday, August 11 & 17, 6:30-7:30pm
Join us as we dig into documentaries, and articles exploring different art movements and artists! This is an accessible and collaborative discussion group in which we will work together to choose our material, and discuss them openly—do the artist’s concepts line up? Is this even art? Is there a compelling idea here? What does this even all mean?? Let’s find out!
