Seniors Who Sew

Starting September 8, we’re distributing mask-making kits to local sewers and makers in our community! The masks will be collected and distributed to organizations and individuals in need in our community and beyond. Each kit contains enough supplies to make 5 masks (kit includes: fabric, elastic, straight pins and instructions).

After you order your kit, we will contact you once your order is completed and ready for pick-up. If you have any additional questions, please email mharris@innisfilidealab.ca or call 705-431-7410 Ext. 5208.

This project was funded by the New Horizons for Seniors Program.

Crafting for Humanity

Not a senior but are interested in making masks and other crafting projects? Are you a senior who would like to get involved in more crafting opportunities to help our community?

Join us for our Crafting for Humanity program for teens and adults. All products will be donated to local people or organizations in need. No experience necessary, but all experience is welcome. Students can receive community service hours for participating.
