This holiday season, we’re asking our community to come together to help those in need with these local initiatives.
Care Bags
We are looking for personal care items to fill our Care Bags which will be donated to community members in need this holiday season. Items:
- Toothpaste/Toothbrush
- Deodorant
- Body wash
- Shampoo/Conditioner
- Soaps
- Razors
- Shaving cream
- Lotions
- Mouthwash
- Lip balm
Donations will be accepted until December 16.
Warm Wishes Make Warm Hearts
Warm Wishes Make Warm Hearts is a card-making initiative starting November 22 until December 3! High school students are invited to pick up a kit of 4 plain cards from the Library to decorate, bedazzle, and add a warm greeting. The cards are then returned so that we can distribute them to local seniors! Students will earn 1 hour of community service per 4 cards, and seniors will get warm wishes this holiday season. Card kits include:
- Four plain cards
- Decorations
- Volunteer form
