Calling All Legacy Builders

Are you passionate about leaving a lasting impact on our community and building a brighter future for generations to come? If so, we invite you to become a Library Fundraising Ambassador – supporting the Library’s fundraising efforts to ensure our library remains a vital resource for all Innisfil residents. Ambassadors join us at special events to promote fundraising efforts, encourage donations, and spread awareness about the library’s importance and impact.

Time Commitment: 1 hour orientation plus 2 to 5 hours per month

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Join us at local events and gatherings to promote our fundraising efforts and spread awareness about the Library’s importance.
  • Engage with residents, sharing our mission and encouraging them to support our cause.
  • Encourage donations to the Library.

Skills/Abilities/Qualifications Required:

  • High degree of initiative and creativity
  • Passionate about Library services
  • Work cooperatively and with enthusiasm to support collaboration, inspire other volunteer involvement
  • Excellent oral communication and written skills
  • Ability to receive instruction from library staff, and the cooperation to abide by library policies and regulations
  • Experience with fundraising is an asset
  • Available evenings and weekends

NOTE: There are limited volunteer positions available and not all applications will result in a volunteer position. Volunteer candidates may be required to provide additional information including a criminal records check. The Library provides no compensation for the services performed. The Library reserves the right to dismiss any volunteer for poor performance, excessive absenteeism or misconduct. Must be 18 years or older.
