Short Story Contest

WRITE ON!

Welcome to the Innisfil ideaLAB & Library’s Short Story Contest

If you’re in Grades 3-12, we want to read your original creative fiction! Whether you’re a writing pro or just want to see what you can do, now is your chance to have your writing recognized by the community.

There are great prizes to be won, including the Seepe Walters Award – a $500 cash grand prize!

If you’re in need of a little creative inspiration, stay tuned for Joel Sutherland’s author tour this Fall, generously sponsored by the Friends of the Library.  Author of the Haunted Canada series, Joel will be visiting Innisfil schools in September to kick-start your imagination and get you pumped to enter your story.  Joel will also be judging contest entries and celebrating the winners at the award ceremony in January.  Yes, you read that correctly. Joel will read your story!  So what are you waiting for? Write on!
