Cosplay costuming with Melissa
A enthusiast coplayer and builder and an active member of Legion 501st, a worldwide group of Star Wars cosplayers, she will have a variety of costumes on site, and will be happy to answer questions about costuming, prop building, 3D printing and more.

Join coach Heather a Zentangle® certified teacher as you draw patterns on a 3D cut-outs Zen bird which you can then suspend from a string and then watched flutter in the breeze.

Jacob Hood
This exhibit is a step by step of the process for creating a metal object from idea into a real metal prop. Using 3D printing, lost wax casting and green sand casting, ths exhibit will display the process that has been used for metal manufacturing since the bronze age.

Jamie Hardie, owner of Hardie & Company, is also a hobby-painter and specializes in portraits. Come see him in action.

Miss Jennie’s Performing Arts Studio
Kayleigh is a dancer from Miss Jennie’s who has successfully auditioned for the World Performers of Canada dance team that will compete in Portugal next June. To raise money for her trip, she has created a kid-business selling custom crayon sets that are perfect for gifts, loot bags etc.

Carson is Kayleigh’s younger brother who also wanted to create a fun kid-business to share something too! His business, Carson’s Creations, features themed and seasonal jam-packed sensory jars. Kids will love playing with these creative jars again and again.

Patty McLauglin
Enjoy a musical performance from 11am-12pm on front stage with a mix of songs for children and adults.

Pyrography Nerd
“Pyrography” translates to “writing with fire” and is the process of burning text/image into a burnable surface. Erin specializes in animal/pet portraits on live edge wood but can burn on other surfaces such as bone, leather, canvas and other non toxic materials. Erin takes custom orders and hopes to have an all year round Christmas shop one day.

Sam Hardie and Cynthia Kerek
Watch Sam, an up and coming Game Developer, as he illustrates on a tablet. His partner, Cynthia, will be by his side demonstrating with pastels.

Savory Treats and Sweets  
Come see one of Innisfil’s local bakers as she demonstrates an Edible Ink Printer, printing images directly onto cookies. Cookies will be available to purchase.

Spin Art
Place small drops of paint on a card as it spins inside the Spin Art machine and watch as it makes a beautiful artistic creation.

Storytime
Join us for 30 minutes of reading, rhyming, talking, playing, and singing, and all kinds of fun.

Tiny Art
Come paint a miniature 3×3 inch canvas, and create the cutest little painting you can, to contribute to a Tiny Art Show in the Fall. The miniature art will be displayed in the Library throughout the stacks.
