501st Legion
501st Legion, a worldwide group of Star Wars cosplayers, will have a variety of costumes on site, and will be happy to answer questions about costuming, prop building, 3D printing and more.

Artist Alyssa Krane
Alyssa Krane is an abstract artist who has been painting for over 30 years. Passionate about art, Alyssa’s portfolio includes highly expressive works on large canvases, diptychs, wood, and glass. Her original works of art are created in acrylics, oils, inks, and mixed media. Her art hangs in homes and professional offices throughout North America.⁠

Artist Dan Fowler
Sharing humanness thru experience and understanding of his native culture with a quiet spiritual side through art.

Balloon Art with Mike Richardson
This artist can make all kinds of amazing balloon sculptures from silly hats to giant flowers to cute balloon animals.

Butterflies and Pollinator Garden
Come learn about our Monarch Butterfly Rearing Program and take a tour of our pollinator gardens, newly expanded this year.

DATS Studio
Shelley Zeleniak is a local deaf entrepreneur who specializes in fabric/sewing arts. She uses different mediums to create embroidered items that are practical, decorative and make wonderful gifts.

The Drawing House
Do you want to learn more about digital drawing and sketching? Are you passionate about Anime & Manga? Join Neil Smith from the Drawing House as he creates digital drawings. Neil is known for creating character-themed pieces based in fiction.

DriVR Academy
Introducing DriVR Academy, the future of driver training. Their cutting-edge virtual reality technology is poised to augment the driving industry by enhancing the driver training experience, increasing driver confidence, and ultimately, reducing the number of road incidents. Practice your driving skills with DriVR Academy using a full steering wheel and pedal in this VR-based driver-training simulator.

Electro Motive Force
As a retired teacher of technology, Bill converted a gas powered lawn tractor to 48V battery power. The cutters are direct motor driven and will cut grass several times on one charge. Come check out this functional machine.

Eyes for Colours
Come create a small Mandala dot project. Mandala is great tool for meditation and increasing self-awareness. Mandala Art helps you to boost concentration and focus. 

Fairies by Cee
Retired Children’s Librarian Cecily created Fairy Dolls. With the advice of a kind artist friend, the patient and invaluable support of her husband, and the help of her three adult children and her daughter-in law, Fairies by Cee was born. Using soft baby yarns with novelty trims, each doll wears a custom-made dress and has over 60 strands of ‘yarn ‘hair. Cecily can be reached at cecily.reid@gmail.com.

Framework Studios
Framework Studios is Barrie’s only shared woodworking studio. Personal time in the shop is accessible to shop members, professional woodworking services are available, free job quotes for furniture and cabinetry, and woodworking classes. Framework Studios is promoting their woodworking classes and providing information on all the exciting things their business has to offer.

Green Screening
Strike a pose in front of our green screen wall and be the star of our 2023 MakerFest poster. Photos will be emailed to you.

HackLAB
Drop into the HackLAB and make yourself a sublimation magnet. While you are there take a look around at the amazing space filled with opportunities and learning.

Hannatess ArtHaus  
Maria is a local artist working mainly in watercolor as well as other mediums her from folio consists of vivid landscapes expressive portraits and scenes of everyday life come treasure hunt as Maria guides you in some very quick sketches.

Ice Hut Art
Watch art come to life with the Community Ice Hut. For months, community members have been painting wooden fish. During MakerFEST these fish will decorate an ice fishing hut; the community art will be on display all winter long.

ideaSHOP 
A source for unique gifts (or to treat yourself) made right here at the Innisfil ideaLAB and Library! With a wide variety of items, you’ll be sure to find something for everyone.

InnPower
InnPower Corporation is the local electric utility, proudly powering Innisfil and South Barrie. InnPower will be providing customers with lots of relevant info, mainly focusing on power outages (what to do during, before and after an outage, safety during outages, emergency preparedness plans, etc.). They will also have other information available including energy saving tips, scam safety, electrical safety, etc.

InnServices
InnServices is the water/wastewater utility serving Innisfil. They will be promoting Water Conservation and Source Water Protection.

Jamie Hardie
Jamie Hardie, owner of Hardie & Company, is also a hobbyist and creative. Come see him in action.

Keeping up with the Richardsons
Custom vinyl designed creations, lots of fun things like our Yardzee buckets, Halloween signs, potholders, tea towels etc.

Kim’s Creations
Kim started out making jewellery because she couldn’t find anything geeky, then she started making it for others. During the pandemic she switched to making masks, which brought back her love of sewing. It has grown into a love of bag making and all things sewing.

Make a thaumatrope with our regional public art gallery. Discover a delightful DIY project that combines art and science, as you craft a mesmerizing optical illusion with a simple spinning disc.

Monique Kingma is a high end decor designer with Chalk Couture. When you visit Monique’s booth you will see 3 opportunities to experience her craft. Rotary Club of Innisfil
Join Rotarians and decorate a cookies, great practice for the Rotary Club of Innisfil’s Annual Simcoe County Gingerbread House Contest on November 25th. Food Network Gingerbread Contest Winner Beatriz Muller will also be on-site demonstrating how to make a cute Gingerbread Fairy Teapot House and answer any questions you may have on how to enter the annual Simcoe County Gingerbread Contest and technical questions that will help you to create your next gingerbread masterpiece!

Come see one of Innisfil’s local bakers as she demonstrates an Edible Ink Printer, printing images directly onto cookies. Cookies will be available to purchase.

Say It With Crayons
Say It With Crayons is family passion project, they collect old and unwanted crayons from restaurants, schools, libraries and home to recycle them and give them new life.

Spin Art
Place small drops of paint on a card as it spins inside the Spin Art machine and watch as it makes a beautiful artistic creation.

Join us for 30 minutes of reading, rhyming, talking, playing, and singing, and all kinds of fun.

Tranquil Corners Yoga & Living Lotus Online
Tranquil Corners Yoga is a boutique studio, offering small class sizes and personalized attention to clients. The owner, Tracey Holton, is an experienced yoga teacher and mental health nurse. She aims to help clients develop self-understanding, connect with their breath, and find inner peace. On the other hand, Living Lotus Online is an online studio owned by Carole Carter. Carole has extensive knowledge in yoga, mat Pilates, and movement education. Her classes are geared towards sustainability, joint-friendliness, and anatomical focus to support individuals on their healing journeys. Both local studios prioritize personalized instruction, with Tranquil Corners Yoga operating physically and Living Lotus Online offering virtual classes.

Woodworker Mike
Intarsia woodworking is the art of creating a mosaic-like picture from pieces of wood. Different species of wood are selected for their color and cut to size using a scroll saw. Woodworker Mike can create an illusion of depth by carefully selecting the grain pattern and direction of each individual piece before gluing together the final assembly. If you can dream Woodworker Mike can build it!
