Curbside Pick Up Now Available
Customers can place holds and pick up books, audiobooks, DVDs, Blu-Rays and magazines at our Cookstown, Lakeshore & Stroud Branches.
How it Works:

Step 2: Book a Pick-Up Time – You will be e-mailed a link to book an appointment for pick-up at your preferred location. You can arrive within 30 minutes of your scheduled time (15 minutes before, or 15 minutes after).
Step 3: No Contact Pick-Up – When you arrive, call 705-431-7410 and choose the location (Lakeshore: 1, Cookstown: 2, Stroud: 3). You will be asked for your library card number.

Reopening Plans Underway
Public libraries are included in Stage 1 and Stage 2 of the Province’s reopening plan. Innisfil ideaLAB & Library staff are hard at work on a strategy to implement the reopening recommendations made by the province. We will focus on a slow and steady approach to ensure that all health and safety measures are in place in order to keep residents and staff safe. The implementation of all phases of our opening plan will incorporate the advice and guidelines provided by the Federal and Provincial Government, the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU), global library best practices, along with guidance from the Town of Innisfil.
We are getting our space ready to ensure physical distancing, installing physical barriers at the customer service desks, and increasing our hand sanitizer stations. We want everyone to feel safe and comfortable when we open our doors. While we can’t open our doors immediately, we are working diligently and creatively to continue to serve our customers remotely.
Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Innisfil ideaLAB & Library has quickly shifted to offer the community multiple ways to connect online. Virtual services include digital library cards, access to eBooks, and databases as well as an abundance of virtual storytimes and programming for all age levels.
We continue to encourage you to explore all of our online resources by visiting innisfilidealab.ca. Watch our social media channels for updates or sign up for our digital newsletter for the latest information.
Library cards that expired between March 1 and April 15, 2020 have been extended to July 10, 2020. Residents of Innisfil can sign up for a Digital Membership and get instant access to all of our eBooks, digital movies, magazines, learning tools, and more. Get the details.
We will continue to provide updates to the public as the situation evolves. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this time.
